چکیده
Abstract Reinjecting low-temperature tailwater into geothermal reservoirs leads to complex thermo-hydro-mechanical coupling processes, making it more difficult predict the thermal breakthrough of reservoirs. By taking example deep carbonate karst fissure type in Xianxian field China, this paper studied processes case reinjection based on previous tracer tests. It established a three-field model two-dimensional discrete fracture network and further verified its suitability through inversion analyses. Moreover, discovered regularity effects temperature pressure changes deformation rock masses clarified mechanisms seepage heat transfer processes. Meanwhile, presented extraction efficiency production well production-reinjection system field. As indicated by results, increased decreased, respectively, initial phase reinjection, leading an increase aperture reservoir permeability. Then, they tended gradually stabilize, amplitude change permeability decreased as proceeded. Finally, proposed optimized scheme study area, aiming provide scientific support for reinjection.

Thermo-hydro-mechanical Coupling in Clay Barriers
A complete thermo-hydro-mechanical model is presented to tackle the complex coupling problems encountered in clay barriers. A detailed formulation coupling the heat, moisture (liquid water and water vapour) and, air transfer in a deformable unsaturated soil is given. The formulation of the AlonsoGens’s mechanical model for unsaturated soil is also incorporated. The sensitivity to some parameter...
متن کاملThermo- and hydro-mechanical processes along faults during rapid slip
Field observations of maturely slipped faults show a generally broad zone of damage by cracking and granulation. Nevertheless, large shear deformation, and therefore heat generation, in individual earthquakes takes place with extreme localization to a zone <1–5 mm wide within a finely granulated fault core. Relevant fault weakening processes during large crustal events are therefore likely to b...

The radon simulation model has been used to simulate radon concentration response during production drawdown and two flowrate transient tests in vapor-dominated systems. Comparison of model simulation with experimental data from field tests provides insight in the analysis of reservoir phenomena such as propagation of boiling fronts, and estimates of reservoir properties of porosity and permeab...
